Board Nominees:

The Nominating Committee of Episcopal Communicators is pleased to present the following slate of candidates for election to the Board of Directors, serving immediately  May 5, 2022:

Cynde Bimbi

Director of Communications & Public Relations
Episcopal Church in Delaware, Wilmington DE

Cynde Bimbi is the Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Episcopal Church in Delaware. Five years ago, she established the communications department, consisting of paid staff, contractors, and volunteers. She is responsible for all diocesan communications — digital and print, ensuring the common and appropriate message, with an eye toward evangelism and a commitment to support every parish. By training (and experience), Cynde is a graphic design artist, web builder/master, and videographer/editor.

This year, she is passionately pleased to boast of her recently approved and funded, diocesan-wide ‘Find a Church’ campaign which will include six billboards placed across the state of Delaware (a first for the diocese), mailers/door hangers, and social media advertising. Only ask Cynde about her campaign if you have ample time and bandwidth to listen, as she finds it difficult to harness her passion and emotion when speaking to this new initiative.

Cynde has been a member of the Episcopal Communicators for the past six years, attending EpisComm each year. She believes that some of her most valuable learning and resources have come through workshops and collaboration at the EpisComm conferences. As an avid supporter of this organization, and experiencing the unmatched good that it brings, Cynde would be honored and humbled to serve as a board member.

When she is not working, you will find Cynde, her husband (Jim), and their dog (Hannah) biking, hiking, beaching, traveling, and enjoying their family and life.
